IIITB introduced a 5 year Integrated M.Tech. (iMTech) program from 2012 onwards. The Integrated M.Tech. program is a 5-year integrated program intended for students who have completed or are completing Plus Two (or equivalent). At the end of five years of the program, successful students get dual degrees of B.Tech and M.Tech.
Separate admissions are being done in two branches at IIITB: Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE).
Last year JEE Main score cut off:-
Cut off for iM.Tech (CSE) is 182
Cut off for iM.Tech (ECE) is 170.
The minimum qualification for admission to the Integrated M.Tech. programme at IIITB is a first-class in 10 + 2 (or equivalent) with Mathematics as one of the subjects. Students expecting to complete the minimum requirement by August 2019 may also apply.
Admissions to the MTech program is solely based on the 2019 NTA Ranking for JEE Main exam, which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
There is no fixed cut-off of JEE Main Score or NTA ranking to the IMTech program. In 2018, admission offers were made based on JEE Main Score with a cutoff of 182 for CSE and 172 for ECE. The NTA Ranking is introduced in 2019, and the NTA Ranking cutoff for 2019 will depend on the actual applications received.
